24 year old man who underwent correction of gynecomastia (enlargement of the male breast) through direct excision of the enlarged breast tissue through a small incision hidden in the areolar skin.  He is shown before and at about 6 weeks after surgery.   Gynecomastia is corrected surgically using different techniques, depending on the degree of gynecomastia and the type of tissue making up the enlarged breast.

27 year old male who underwent correction of gynecomastia (enlargement of the male breast) by a combination of liposuction, direct excision of the tissue beneath the areola, and reduction of the diameter of the areolas.  He is seen before surgery and about six weeks after surgery.  The surgical scars are hidden along the areolar border and are virtually invisible.

16 year old male who desired correction of gynecomastia.  He underwent reduction of breast tissue by liposuction and direct excision of  tissue beneath the areola (darker skin around the nipple).  He also underwent areolar reduction. These techniques allowed for maximal flattening of the protruding areolas.  He is shown about 4 weeks after surgery, still with relatively fresh surgical scars that will fade with time.

36 year old, 5'11", 255 lbs man who underwent correction of advanced gynecomastia (male breast development) by direct excision of excess skin and breast tissue.  The nipple/areolas were skin grafted back onto the new breast contour.  The "after" photo was taken six weeks after surgery, showing the early scars that will fade over 1-2 years.
